“A great effort from all of the lizards, who as far as I can remember, after re-rolls at least, never missed a pick-up, hand off go for it or pass, never turned over on a block and even made an intercept with a Saurus.
They scored fairly quickly from receiving the kick, keeping the ball safe. The Furries made the first of a series of mistakes with the ball and the lizards capitalised to go up 2-0 just before half time. Blitz rat had a chance to make it 2-1 when he survived a total of 6 block dice to sidestep next to the line, but a lot of sprinting lizards made it a two tackle zone dodge and it wasn't to be.
One turn into the second half and it really was 2-1 thanks to a quick snap and some fast running from blitz-rat. The lizards scored from the next kickoff however, and when blitz-rat knocked himself out trying to score in one turn again (another quick snap), it was 4-1. Finally, Phuazoth-mokr made an excellent intercept and ran in on the last turn for the fifth.
It's easy coaching a team who's player's don't seem to make any mistakes, I'll have to wait and see how it goes when the double ones start to come my way instead. My only gripe is the mvp going to the dead player, although he did do his assigned task very well - standing on the line of scrimmage and taking the hits.
Twanhlows:
3: The Replacement - despite only causing 1 actual casualty, he knocked a lot of players out and generally scared the hell out of me the whole game.
2: Niggler - a little furry rat who fought toe-to-toe with the big sauri and usually came out ahead.
1: Frustration - a lot of blocks and a casualty.”
“Game start good the rep turned up and bribe the ref was the handicap given up. For the longest time not much went wrong until the double ones started which stop 2 TD and gave them to the skinks. Solid game by Irgy deserve to get out of regs. The replacemnts time may be up at the end of this season though, only 1 cas from 13 blocks is not good enough
