“Indeed, it was an interesting game. As for the difference between the first half and second half drives - the best way to answer that is that I tend to be more aggressive on defense when there is a lot of time left in the game. However, in this case, it was more a matter of bad play in the first half. My rat ogre failed WA rolls at important times and you had all 7 AV 9 players on the field and they tied me up too much. A bit of bad luck and I just could not get in your way. In the second half, the rat ogre passed his WA roll and crashed through the cage.

This was was well played throughout by both coaches. It was won close to the finish when the Lizards were forced back with a good, deep kick and turned over close to their own goal line.
In many respects there was a battle of Big Guys tonight, which the Skaven easily won. Indeed, it was the Rat Ogre who ended the Fighters' hopes of a tie with his tail late on. The Krox meanwhile was not nearly as effective.
I wonder what was different about my second half drive- did you allow an easy score for us in the first? Or tailor the second half defense in light of the first half? Or otherwise?!!
Apart from the misuse of the Krox, I did not see that I played any worse in the second half, and yet ended up being turned over. Would you care to offer your views dude? I'm interested to learn from each game, and in this case the reason for the loss was not so obvious as it normally is to me ^^
