Well going into the match I fealt confident as I had a full squad to put up against Lethal's 13 strong squad (2 missed the game). All went well despite Lethal starting the game with a Blitz! My team smashed the opposition aside and although very slowly scored leaving 2 turns for Lethal to score. And they did! Oh those pesky runners can be a handful!

It was in the 2nd half the game was decided. A ball-steal and some heavy KO's and CAS's meant that Lethal were heavily outnumbered the entire half. Seeing as there was only the mild mopping up of the leftovers left a Black Orc decided it was high time to throw a block on the remaining liner still standing. Well after 2 Double Skull results the BO was flat on his asre and coach BadNag even managed to tempt Lethal with a bribe to foul the blighter (BO) out! Well the ball was well hidden in a throng of Greenskins but somehow Lethal just did some amazing dodges (I think it was 3 dodges with tackle on the runner and no RR's) that the Lethal Ogre and runner cooperated to bring the ball back into possesion and score a very unlikely TD. Well ust goes to show that never ever give up because you are down and never count an opponent out... Good Game and Good Luck bro [jinx]!

Is my face red?...

The 4th match between Lethal and Bad Nag - and what a match it was!!

The earlier 3 games were all draws, actually, ALL OF THEM WERE 2-2 games! Can you believe that? But this 4th match was going to be something different, certainly?

The Bad Nags got to a crunching start with a second block already delivering a RIP result (luckily the APO saved the poor bugger) and the forthcoming blocks were not going to be promising, with 3 mighty blowz in the team... Luckily, though, the blocks faded away a little - or at least the strength of the blocks - which gave the game a little edge as Lethal tried to grab the ball from the stinky orcs, but to no avail(...). The Naggers (one of the nicknames the Lethal Justice players like to call the opposition) managed to score towards the end of the 1st half. But there was still a chance for an equaliser.
Indeed, an iqualiser was the result of a good forward-run by the whole Lethal team through the Naggers' left wing, which paved way for a more interesting game, come the 2nd half.

2nd half, Lethal to receive, were put up against a brightier orc team, which quickly moved its players around before the ball landed, which, of course isn't allowed, but the ref seemed not to take any notice.
So, the team were put toe-to-toe with the cruelsome opponent, with all it's tackles, michties, and all but somehow the team got through to almost score but the Nag Bags (another nickname in the Lethal camp) managed to take the ball under their wing with lots of Lethal players hanging around in the KO box.
The Naggers were going to have a nice little stroll down to the TD box with no apparent obsticles in their way... until one turned up (and a big one)!! The human dummie (ogre) Cornelius was lying down on his back when he decided it was time to do some good for once, when he picked himself up, dodged away from an opponent (+4) and grabbing two extra lengths (go for its) before his shoulder pad smashed against hard skin! And all this without any outside help (in other words, the team didn't posses any RR's at this stage of the match).

Now come the unexpected:

The ball was now lying between a few Lethal feet and lots of Nag feet. The orcs try to get away some Lethal players but not really succeeding too well, though only one player left besides the ball. Then, when a black orc decided to block the air filled with anticipation and the crowd went silent... It was as if time itself stood still!

BAM!

The black orc fumbles and renewed its strength to

BAM! again

and AGAIN(!) the black orc was forced to see that he would turn out to be the softer of the two players when he finally would realise HE was THE player lying on HIS back.

What a turn-over!!!

Then came Prax, the unstoppable catcher, who had to dodge from a nasty tacklezone (against tackle) to get to the ball (besides some Nag feet, as mentioned) and having to run towards the end-zone (again, against tackle). All of this seemed irrelevant to Prax when he saw the chance. All he was thinking, "I'll make it or I'll brake it trying it", and so he set off to do this incredible task, never hesitating, managing to bring the ball just yards away from the end-zone.
Fortunately, at the same time some other stuff had been accomplished, and the FEW Lethal players still on the pitch managed to assist their team mate Prax, not giving much space to the Naggers to blitz.

2-1 !!!

The Nags didn't manage to blitz and Prax could easily carry the old pigskin to the end-zone and finally beating the Baggers!
