“This match was basically over by the Kick-Off of the second half. In the first half I kicked off and copped a pounding from the Undead. 2d Blocks were flying all over the place with barely a Skull in sight. Things went so well that I'm not even sure they used a reroll in the first half. This was through good strategy as much as luck though. I held them up until turn 8 but they got through in the end.

The second half started with a Blitz. The opposition were able to get a Ghoul with a 4 Str next to where the ball ended up. I was able to knock him over but couldn't break the armour. By the end of his turn 1 he had the ball and the match was done.

About the only consolation I could take out of the game was that no-one got Killed or SI'd (about 9 players were KO'd though!) and my Witch Elf got a Cas and an MVP to skill up after just 1 game. Other than that it was a match to forget. Any game where a Mummy can make 12 Blocks isn't a good one!

I shouldn't take anything away from my opponent though. His skill choices on his players are good ones and he always seemed to have the right players in the right spots. He was fun to play against, even if I was getting thumped, often literally! :-)”
