Second Virus in the row and Ramtut destroyed the dream.

Even asking a second troll to keep Ramtut under controll didn't help. Ailuropoda melanoleuca (Troll) had a shocking game. He was either stupid or double skulled himself.

Ramtut - deserves the 3 points. Without him it would've been a different game
#2 Jumpin' Jack Gnash - scored at will
#3 Mork Blackhelm - best player of that team

#6 Groth Paleflesh – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#6 Groth Paleflesh – Smashed Knee (NI)

Important game in the context of the season and the big boys turned up to help out, Ramtut for the Theatre and Ripper Bolgrot for the Orcs. Unfortunately for the Predators no less than 4 of their guns were struck down by a virus and were unable to play. With Paleflesh and Blackhelm both having no problems with their niggling injuries things were weighted in our favour before the first coin toss.

The handy run continued with the 1st drive as we picked up a blitz, Mork going kamikaze after the ball but tripping up in the excitement. Hyaena took the opportunity to get things moving and dropped a boot to the head with help from a few of his mates, Mork being carried from the pitch but fortunately his regen saving him from serious damage. A tough drive ensued with Harrisii taking possession of the ball and delivery a crunching blitz on Groth Paleflesh, fracturing his leg and possibly ending his career. Canis Lupus and Puma Concolor were both forced from the pitch during the drive, but the Predators run in the touchdown on turn 6.

Theatre gets a couple of turns to try and score an equaliser before half time. It was looking tricky with a concerningly (is that a word?) high number of zombies forced to take the pitch due to various injuries, but fortunately a bad kick resulted in the ball ending up with Jack Gnash, who ran it in on the last turn with the help from a fleshy/Ramtut combo screen.

1 all at the half, and with virus and injuries starting to take their toll the Predators were left with just 8 players to take the field on defence. Theatre roll down the boundary line in numbers leaving not a lot of options for the Orcs. Jack Gnash receives the handoff and takes his second TD, leaving the one turn remaining for the Orcs to try for a tie. Predators can't get a break, with a "bad" kick putting the ball out of range of a possible TTM touchdown, and leaving the score 2 - 1.

Plenty going our way for the majority of the game. It was an unfortunate injury to Groth Paleflesh - team management will be forced to take a good look at whether he should call it a day, and with Jack Gnash picking up a niggling injury post game the win ended up coming at a cost.

3 votes: Sarcophilus Harrisii (#8) Carried the ball, possibly ended Groth's career and was one of the few to play most of the game.

2 votes: Ursus Crowtheri (#3) Solid performance from the most inexperienced of the BOBs

1 vote: Hyaena brunnea (#7) Tough to call, could easily have gone to Populator or the little guy Corsac but Hyaena's contribution was significant on the 1st drive.
