Dear Van-Yar~!,

Although we humiliated the Corsairs on the field of Glory, and despite the fact that they did not win the Ring of Fire, our Ring of Fire… they did win our hearts! We took pity on the foul beats and allowed them to be our guides on the path to greater glory, the path to the Two Towers!

Our first obstacle on this path was that of some fearsome Ogres from Mordor, known as, well… Ogres of Mordor actually. We deliberated as to whether we should use the power of the Ring and bind our lowly guides to face off this deadly-fearsome band of creatures, but reasoned that anyone so creatively named could not be too smart… we met the challenge head on!

The game alas was a blur of dancing Vanyarians and broken Ogre bones! In the first half alone we had put the game out of reach of the Ogres with a 4 – 0 score, and our new Lion Warrior, Adian, had scored three of them!

By the climax of the second half we had reduced the Ogres to but three men and had accumulated a score that taxed their tiny toad like minds… 6 – 1.

As for the Corsairs… fear not, with our ability we will drag them to the gates of the Towers with us and carry the very burden of their ineptitude upon our shoulders! Keep your friends close, but your enemies’ closer my brothers…

Regards,
Captain Tarius - Pirates of the Ring

What happens when a 13 man HE team with the backing of Nuffle meets an 8 man Ogre team that is 70TS below them?

Answer: a 6 – 1 score line and CAS’ no worse than BH!

Lardidar was unlucky, even for Ogres, failing about 4 out of 5 attempts at tossing a Gobo… I don’t mean successfully tossing, I mean tossing, period. Where, with a 72% luck (No reload) I simply couldn’t put a foot wrong.

Lardidar was entertaining throughout and still claimed he had a good game, and feared not for he said DeathBoy would get them through despite the 23 – 5 point margin. :)

Cheers Lard
