“A very important game for both sides, following recent losses of playing staff, both teams had only 10 players on show. In a tense game the Orcs managed to apply the most pressure early enough, and put PSV on the back foot for the rest of the game.
A first half score from the agile Deco saw PSV lose heart whne their star Bull was still KO'd at the start of the Second Half.
The Orcs quickly surged forward and pressured PSV until they were able to regain the ball. B'Orcalona stalled the half out and scored at the death.
Fortunately both teams got cash and no perms so both coaches were reasonably happy in hindsight!
“The dwarves of Zharr-Naggrund were out classed in this rain soaked match. The orcs managed a score in the best of the weather at the beginning of the match, but the dwarves short legs and slow running really began to show, and their play was just never on form. Think of the England rugby team, just with beards and hats.
Towards the end of the first half the dwarves failed to set their bull centaur free with the ball, instead seeing him fail to break free from their blitzer's tackle, and then - oh horror - getting knocked out and deciding to stay in the bull-pen for the rest of the match.
The orcs then dominated the second half, scoring at the finish. Fortunately all the rain meant a soft pitch, and both teams got away with no lasting injuries.”
