“After kicking to their opponents, the Storms put up a beautifully executed defense, send the ball soaring into the crowd early in the half after a daring blitz on the ball carrier, where it was quickly recovered by team captain Aislin. Unfortunatly coach Spoonie wasn't familiar with these rotting opponents, and a clean breakaway for a touchdown turned into Saeryn vomiting all over the place instead of catching the ball, landing it in easy reach of a counter attack by the enemy. By halftime the Rot were up by 1, with the dark elves seething at being denied an easy touchdown. Determined to stick it to those smell bastards, team captain Aislin lead a daring offense down the left sideline, smashing beastmen into the turf. A long bomb from Saeryn tied up the game early in the second half, and things were looking up for the Storms. After the kickoff the Storm were once again eager to get at the ball. Popping it loose and scooping it up, linewoman Alaya held on to the ball for dear life and she was knocked around the field by the Rot, but refused to go down. Finding herself stuck, she tried to throw the ball into the air just to free it up, but sadly it got stuck to a randomly flailing tentacle on the Rot's beast. Unable to stop such a monstrosity in time, the Storms had to settle for a draw. Infuriated by the loss, star blitzers Saeryn and Aislin doubled their training efforts, picking up valuable new skills for next season.”
