“Well the match went much better than I expected. It was looking like the Volts were going to take the lead mid way through the first half but the Chain Gang turned defence into attack. With some ferocious blocking they stunned or K'Oed at least 4 Volts players in 2 turns. They also managed to send the ball almost the length of the field for a TD in the last turn of the half. They scored mid way through the second and from there it was all uphill for the Volts who lost the ball just over the half way line and the Gang went close to a third. The Volts were saved by a mystical force that caused Skase to trip and fall on the try line. The head coach was not prepared to comment about allegations that he routinely bribes opposition star players to throw the game.
