“RESULT.....(OBBA North Division) Kislevhagen 3 - 5 Tottenheim Hotspur FC
This game looked set to be a high scoring affair right from the off and didn't disappoint. Amid all the scoring there was a nice liberal smattering of fouling from both coaches and more blocks than you'd expect in a game like this too. The key moments of the game were a blitz which allowed Spurs to get the ball and score on the opening kick-off and a failed hand off with a re-roll by Kislevhagen with the score at 3-2 to Spurs. The mistaken hand-off was punished with another TD to virtually assure the win. The big highlight of the game though was Oswaldo 'Ossie' Ardiles scoring 4 TD's on debut for the spurs. He's looking forward to playing "in the cup for Tottingheim".
The final result of 5-3 set a record for the highest scoring game in all of OBBA this year and was only the second time a team has scored 5 this season too. The other team to achieve this were Inter-Rationale also of the OBBA North division. While most focus obviously goes to the Premiere League I think it's fair to say most of the quality games have come from the OBBA North this term with it being the truly beautiful league.
As for the Spurs, it's a shame they didn't get to play a game until week 3 of the season and that they played so badly against the top 2 sides in games they could have won with better application. The leagues gone now but a win in their last game should give them a solid finish to a short season for the Spurs.”
