“A close fought match between two teams picking themselves up after being on the receiving end of a Fumbbl-Smack. The Eternal Scum got a lucky break with the early injury of Papa Nurgle - Badly Hurt in the second turn. Slowly wearing down the beastmen, they crawled forward for Igor to score a hard fought TD.

The second half opened with a strong and mobile drive from the Sons of Nurgle moving the ball from one side of the field to the other to catch the Scum defence flatfooted. Piotr Illich made a valiant attempt to prevent the score, but his co-ordination seemed to depart him at the last minute.

With 6 turns to go, the scum started crawling forward with the ball again, but a brilliant blitz prevented Igor from contributing anything more to the match except a pool of blood for players to run through. In a chaotic bounce, the loose ball found it's way to the hands of Kelly Ton who moved as fast as he could towards the endzone, assisted by blocking from the remaining scum.

Special mention must be made of Ankharuman who is rapidly becoming the gentle ben of the mummy world - 57 blocks and only 2 casualties. A source close to the team has said that the rumours of "Give peace a chance" signs and floral garlands found in his locker are the result of a prank by one of his team mates.”
