“"We took a small step forward, and a major step back today. We managed to get our first non-loss of the season, but suffered a major loss in our hearts. Cavalier will be missed, along with our other fallen comrades, but we will continue without him. Tiger will replace him as line captain for now. No further comments.

Good overall game. Both touchdowns were strokes of luck, and we were two pretty evenly matched teams.”
“When Hugo got taken out in Turn 5 on his first half back in the game since the first game of the tournament, I was thinking deja vu. Not a good feeling. And with him out the next game, things aren't looking too good for that one, either.
We did manage to "recruit" Cavalier (the Bomber's team captain) to our side though. That's 2 in two games.
And with the amazing turn of events in Turn 6/7 in the second half (starting with a *bad* fumble by the bombers that had the ball land in what could be described as the best possible location for me, moving to some well placed blocks, then to not only a good pick up, but also a successful pass and run into the end zone -- all without a re-roll available), I managed to salvage the game with a tie.
I think I owe the tie to the Bombers being short some players to start, but they sure seemed to do well with my rolls, most often getting push-packs when I was in need of a pow. Though my favorite was the skull, skull/pow roll that re-rolled to a skull/pow, skull. Or the double skulls that re-rolled to double skull/pows. :P
Very good game, was fun, and I'm hoping next time the Bombers start with even fewer members, so I have a shot at winning. :)
In conclusion, KILL SPEEDY! (That is all.)
