“*** Tales of the un-Christian-like, Chapter 4 ***
A holy team playing against one created by an evil necromancer, our Christian Soldiers were expected to win this game on faith. However, the rotten creatures surprised us by uncanny blocking skill in the beginning. In turn 1 they had 100% luck against our 24% for a very tough start of the game and a number of stunned soldiers. This dropped to 87% in turn 2, but In fact we had to be happy not getting seriously injured at this point.
The opponent werewolf easily broke through our lines and charged towards what seemed to be a safe TD. At that point luck changed as saintly apostle (CW) John cleverly chain-blocked to bring philosopher (BM) Descartes into a better position to blitz the werewolf. The bloodthirsty creature was caught by the horns of Descartes for a relieving knockout and the match picture turned around completely!
After taking command of the battle, we made a safe TD for 1-0 at half time. In second half we had a solid advantage, although it still seemed impossible to hurt the necromantics worse than knockout. As flesh golem Ratao was strangely killed in the only CAS of the match, opponent manager Pagani chose to forfeit the game. Pagani fought well before that though and I must say that the start of this game was really a shock to us! ”
