I found the game unenjoyable from the 1st turn, which is a shame, cause I really wanted to play against Emphasy. He is clearly one of the better coaches out there.
I took this particular game even though Emp had picked the game to maximise on his claw/tackle and a handicap. Good coaches weigh those things up to maximise their winning chances.
Me, as not such a good coach thought 'bugger it, let's play'. sometimes I just dont care what the odds are, it's time to step up and take on a challenge. Otherwise we would have danced around each other's teams forever.
the game itself went as I expected. Although I did get lucky dodging a rat ogre to equalise. Post match he picked up his 2nd niggle off his 2nd skill roll so as soon as I have the cash, he's history. Karma in effect. Killing emp's AG4 lino was nice too. Target + destroy is nice when it works.
I'm still left with a bitter taste in my mouth after the game, even with experiencing good/bad luck. The goon squad booing everything I did didn't help either, but such is life whilst I play now.

But no doubting Emp as a coach. He's very good.”
