“A damn hard fought match against a more experienced team saw the Harriers lacking in confidence early, with a fast TD sweeping past a lacklustre defence. Once Dazey managed to lumber over the line to equalise just before the half, the match hotted up.

A slightly cautious Ferdinand took the safer option and snuck over for a TD mid way in the second half, leaving his coach cursing and only able to field 9 players for the rest of the half, a poor decision by Ferdinand which saw the Rotters, a smart if somewhat nauseous outfit, slide through a stunned defence and equalise in the final moments.

An excellent game and one that will be closely examined by the rookie harriers. A rematch will be widely popular with the fans!”
