I'm not certain what I did to anger the great dice gods, but I apparently pissed them off _good_.

Game started off ok, but very rapidly went south when the first block of the 2nd turn was quad-skulls. This allowed the Furrd Tribe to bash my dwarves silly and capture the ball. A TD was virtually inevitable.

At the end of the 1st, I'd managed to CAS one of the orcs, and one of his black orcs was KO'd and stayed down, giving me an 11-9 player advantage. A tie (at least) seemed likely. However, this dream was shattered on the 1st of the 2nd, when MadTias CAS'd two of my dwarves and KO'd a third. Not only did this give him a player advantage, but as all the dwarves he KO'd also happened to be the ones that had guard, it gave him a strength advantage too, and his second TD was pretty much unstoppable as well.

Although his luck% did lower to a 'mere' 65% by the end of the game, that was after staying at 70% virtually the entire time.

I won't say luck let him win, since he is a skilled opponent, but it certainly didn't hurt him.
