#3 Cyril Abidi – Smashed Knee (NI)
#6 Ray Sefo – Smashed Knee (NI)
After their last game, the K1 boys decided they wanted to mix it with the big boys.
The Khemri team seemed more than a bit daunting...but never one to back down from a challenge....

By the end of turn 2 Remy had charged over the line to put them in the lead.
Determined not to be shown up, Menkauhor's Revenge hammered their way through the elves to even the scores at half time.

The hard-hitting mummies seemed to get off to a slow start, but found their form well enough, causing multiple casualties to the Legends.

A lucky break in the dying moments of the second half saw the K1 Legends steal the victory.

My thanks to GorgeouS for a hard, well played game.

After much hype about Khemrian teams lack of ability against elven opponents Menkauhor lead his team into what was thought to be a scoring landslide.

Signs of this emerged as the K1 Legends jumped off to an early start in only turn 2 of the game. Angry at this, the Khemri boys started a brutal drive to make a lucky play on turn 8 of the first half to score.

The second half started with the Khemri boys recieving, and after the K1 boys efforts to stop the Khemri drive failed last time, Menkauhor could smell another victory. After a 6 turn drive Amenmesse found himself within scoring range, only to be put down on a 1 dice blitz, and the ball to be thrown out of the cage. Seeing this opportunity the elven thrower managed to pull of a run/pick up/dodge/run/pass play that elves are notoriously famous for and give the ball to a lineelf who would then eventually score in turn 8 2nd half.

The elves had, in true elf fashion, stolen the victory, much to Menkauhor's disbelief. The hype had been accurate, as this game was the toughest match the Khemri boys had played, against the supposedbly delicate elves.

Thanx for the game Delta, maybe Menkauhor will have his revenge...another time.
