#7 Skorla da Big Git – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#7 Skorla da Big Git – Smashed Knee (NI)
The Bloodboyz faced a 10 man wood elf team. With no skilled tacklers and several of the woodies being abnormally strong Mug thought long and hard on how to deal with them. In the end he realized there were only one thing to do. Bring out the book o' foul tricks. A well placed donation to the ref gave the Bloodboyz the kickoff (Palmed coin handicap) and a guarantee that no players would get ejected. The strategy worked off great in the beginning and they disposed of the treeman and elf Gerion Earl within the first minute.

The matches developed into a real grudge match and the elves fouled back as much as they could, leaving players on both sides stunned and knocked out. Gentleman fin was ejected by the ref, but the next time the ref blew his whistle darune strode onto the pitch to have a little discussion with him. The handshake included some golden coins and the ref suddenly changed the call and allowed the foul.

Ghar could rather calmly walk in the TD before the half was over.

The second half looked like a given victory since Royal Deluce could only muster 6 players, but with ST 4 AG 5 players and dodgers the Bloodboyz knew that even such a small squad could turn the match. And the elves seemed to confirm it by scoring a quick TD. In the process Skorla da Big Git failed a dodge and fractured his leg badly, ending the agile beastmans career.

After that the kickoff the by now very well payed ref packed up his things and went home (both teams got the ref), leaving the grudge match the chance to continue. The Bloodboyz caged their way to a TD and kept the rest in check, often by applying the boot. But scoring casualties was extremly hard this day. In the end the 4 remaining elves simply gave up hope and Ruk da Ravager could score the winning TD.

The Bloodboyz are still undefeated and by the help of circumstances they beat Royal Deluxe. Without the ref it would have been extremly hard since darune's men had a very good day when it came to AV rolls and blocks. My luck was instead spent on surrounding bonuses, which ended up winning me the match.

Fortunately Cerebos rolled +AG, so Skorla can retire in peace without have to worry about crippling the team.

Thanks for the match, darune. It was a weird match. Lots of fouling on both sides, hehe. It's a small wonder that the casualty count was kept so low. Take care and good luck with your team!
