#1 Teddy KGB – Smashed Hip (-MA)
“As SteelThunder said, it was a great and entertaining match. This being only my second forray into a wood elf team (the first being horribly mangled by necros)the claws made me quite nervous!. True to form, Teddy KGB gored himself on Dragula's claws in the first half to leave me down 1 a man, but we were tied going into the second half. Though my first kick at the cat... erm wolf was weak, I did manage to hurt one of em... After some great plays... including my second td which saw me dodging and weaving and completing a pass without rrs Dragula figured not to be outdone and ended the game with a turn 16 4+ dodge, blitz, 2 gfi, barn-storming TD!

Thunder Kiss is my first ever attempt at running a necro team. Something way out of the norm for me. The beginning drive took off well and despite desperate elf attempts at getting to the ball, Living Dead Girl managed to get in for the score first.
The wood elfs answered quickly with a very nice pass play-relay of their own rather quickly. It should also be noted that the elfs fouled twice before the necro team even considered it as an option. Their first attempt didn't even break armor. As a result, Black Sunshine started to call them "Wuss Elfs" for the remaninder of the match.
Dmarr made it a challenge and even though Living Dead Girl scored her second TD of the game, the elves came right back near the end of the 2nd half and took us into overtime. Things came to a head though as Dragula managed to take out an elf with his claws and I am Hell laid out another elf, giving the man-advantage to the necro team. Dragula managed to pull off a nice blitz after the elves took the ball and recovered the fumble from his hit and scampered into the endzone for the winning score.
A very good match, Dmarr played a great game and it was thoroughly entertaining. I look forward to facing him more in the OCCS.”
