“The Skirmishers went up against the ValleofDeath and their adventurous high risk coach NWM. It ended up being a very entertaining match that swayed back and forth. The Skirmishers handicaped themselves by failing the niggle roles on both their nigglers, meaning that the prime scorer Gloinus and my dirty player missed out on the match.

The Skirmishers were often boxed in by the undead and they really missed their retired guards, allowing the undead to score in the first half despite being on offense. But somehow they pulled through when it was needed. They achieved a TD through a sprinting hobgoblin with no rerolls to tie the match, but left the undead time enough to make a last run. NWM's gambling seemed to pay off with lots of succesful 1 hit blocks, but towards the end of the match he took one risk too many. Instead of trying for a very good TD rush he blitzed the bull centaur Foibur with his ball carrying ghoul. It ended up hit/pow and the ghoul went down stunned over what he had just done.

The Skirmishers gathered their last strength, pushed the zombies away from the ball and managed to snatch it up and pass it through a waiting hobgoblin that ran it in on the very last seconds of the match.
