“Both teams looked evenly matched as they entered the field, but it was soon discovered that the WE had help from a greater power.
In the first DE drive the WE stopped them just short of the end zone, a WE catcher picked up the ball and ran all the way to the LoS, there he made a pass only granted by the gods for the first TD!
The flabbergasted DE didn´t despair and on the following drive they were off again, then the WE dodged their way to the ballcarrier and tackled the ball loose.
Again, this time it was the WE thrower who got the ball, a pass was made resulting in Cpl.Klangs 2nd TD.
In 2nd half the WE looked unstoppable, they dodged around the DE who couldn´t seem to do anything to stop them.
That resulted in yet 2 more TDs and if that was not all they fouled a DE lineman to death even though the DE had the ref. and hadn´t fouled all game.
Mixed feelings went trough the team as they watched their dark relatives whom they had so much hatred against, leave the field so helplessly outplayed.
"I didn´t think i would say this about DEs, but i feel sorry for them, it just wasn´t their day." Lt. Murdock said after the game.
