“A very very close tactical game.

The Ratz started off in offence first with the legendary Jerry Rice Rat scoring a lightning fast TD to get them onto the scoreboard.

The Terrors replied by carefully bringing up the ball, trying to outmaneouver the Rats who had some strong fast hitters. The Ratz put immense pressure on the Terrors with their Rat Ogre frequently forcing his way towards the Terrors Hobgoblin ball carrier where his menacing Prehensile Tail could trip up the Terrors player.

However, the Terrors managed to get the ball safely into the endzone whilst knocking out and injuring a couple of players.

The Terrors started in offence in the second half and again advanced the ball carefully whilst the Rats circled menacingly, looking for opportunities to attack the ball carrier.

The game looked destined for a draw as the Rats could score a quick reply (two one turners) after the Terrors scored, but late in the game, the Terrors managed to injure one and knock out the other of the two Rat players with the speed to score in the dying seconds of the game!

The Rats tried vainly to stop the Terrors from scoring (using up their last reroll) and were unable to score a reply as their Gutter Runner was tackled on is way towards the end zone (failed his 2nd 3+ dodge with no reroll).

It was certainly a very fun and tense game! My opponent had two Str 4 Ma 7 players plus a Rat Ogre who made all his Wild Animal rolls to Blitz after failing his first two so it was certainly not easy to score.

Finally it was some luck on turn 6 second half where I hit both his Gutter Runners and then he used his last reroll that allowed the game to fall in my favour.

A fun game against a fun competitive opponent.”
