Palace started their career in the Conferences in terrific form. In the first half they managed a cracker of a move which was finished off from close range after a bit of scrambling in the box by Clinton Morrison. The boys then held up fantastically for the rest of the half (with some help from a keen fan) and despite the greater quality being shown by United.
With a dressing room bust-up meaning a very depleted Palace side took to the field in the second half it was fairly easy for the quality in the United team to shine through earning them a deserved victory.
Following rumours of trouble in the camp it looks like managed Petor Tail'Or may be for the chop. How literally I think depends on the amount of mead the boys can get their hands on!
Well played G_Force and best of luck with your bid for promotion!”
“Not really a fun match all in all, more of a MISMATCH really. and sadly for azran there is probably more of the same to come in conference division with some clasic heavy hitters still to face.
The match did have some highlights though.
Palace started out on offense and managed to make some headway. It looked like there was to be some showboating in front of goal. The MUFC defense applied the presure but couldn't stop the score, it did however give them time for an equaliser before half time. However with rooney injured at the restart by a projectile from the crowd (police are viewing footage of the match to build a case for prosecution) and some sloppy ball play from the wingers the teams went in with the score still 1-0
The half time team talk must have been a good one (that and half the palace team not appearing for the second half) as the play style from MUFC improved and Ronaldo managed to bag a brace to take the victory.
In other team news, Patrice Evra was killed twice in his debut game so decided to stay dead however the manager did manage to secure a transfer deal with Paul Ifill as a replacement
Tough draw Azran, hope it gets better for you.”
