#11 Boo the Silly – Smashed Knee (NI) #16 Ash Wood – Dead (RIP)
“Rose Bowl:
Two teams that finished with strong second halves of the season meet once again in the Rose Bowl and would the 11 man chaos team manage to bash through the 15 fairies of Boise State?
The first half kickoff was taken by boise state and a sweep right had them fairies pushing upfield fast for a quick 1-0 lead. However, as the second quarter started, it was time for the Buckeyes to take the ball. A deep kick however forced the Buckeyes to start at their own endzone. Bush Hammer tossed Boo the Silly downfield, but the -3d block was not all pushes or better (for the crowd push and knock ball loose)...however, the Buckeyes were still pinned deep and Ash Wood darted forward after they fumbled a pass - picked it up and scooted in for the 2-0 lead! Right before the end of the half, there was a chance for yet another score, as Bush Hammer made a perfect toss for Boo the Silly again - who darted into the endzone to pick up the loose ball...but he could not handle the ball - booting it out of bounds. He was not watched either as he was crushed by a block (RIP), apothecary saved him for a minute...but just seconds later, Ash Wood was smashed by another block. The half ended then in a 2-0 lead for Boise State.
As the second half started, the Buckeyes wasted no time moving the ball upfield. Bush Hammer broke right through the cage and smacked the ball carrier - but only for a push...a take root and failed dodge and Bush Hammer was left alone...and the Buckeyes managed to escape. Bush Hammer however could see the game getting out of hand so he smashed Eddie George to the ground (carried off the field - BH), then walked over to Will Smith and knocked him out (did not wake up rest of game). So the Buckeyes scored to make it 2-1, but it was now 11 on 9 players. On the next drive that would decide the game, Bush Hammer made a dodge and multiblock to badly hurt Mike Nugent (apoth saved, but then fouled for KO) and also knocked down another player. That cleared the path...but a fumble on the pickup gave the Buckeyes a chance...they capitalized and had the ball - starting to pull away for the draw....but the fairies flocked and managed a 2d block to knock the ball loose and Jason Tool grabbed the ball and headed on the sideline...too far away for the Buckeyes to reach him - he scored, but not befor Boo the Silly was niggled on another hit (but he got the MVP for absorbing so many nasty hits).
The game ended with a 3-1 victory for Boise State and celebration reigns in Boise State! Great game and thanks to the Buckeyes for a great match!”
