“Two Towers Final: Pirates of the Ring -v- Moria Swamp Kings

The humans won the toss and decided to receive. They had added the talent of Zara The Slayer to their ranks, while the Vampire Count was hired for the undead.

On kick off, the undead got the ref... and seeing this, Zara blitzed the zombie DP knocking him out... the undead had lost the kick off advantage. The humans then set about clearing the pitch as undead player after undead player failed their armour rolls. However, before he departed for the KO box himself, Quick Sand II BH'd Zara with a hard blitz... and Azure used the apoth... which failed.

Although 0-1 in to the second half, things were looking up with Zara gone.

However, things didn't go well for the undead. Azure seemed to succeed everywhere, and the undead desperately held on to the ball. Eventually they were undone, and the humans ran in another TD to go 0-2 up. The final was effectively over.

The undead made a fast play, hoping for something like "adjusting clock back", and scored with a turn to go... but nuffle was having none of it. The crowd showed what they thought and invaded the pitch instead!

Was a tough game. The 1st half was the undoing of the undead, but it was well played by Azure. A grudging "Well done!" to the Pirates of the Ring. However, the Moria Swamp Kings will return... more brutal than ever before... little do the forces of light know what a hornets nest they have now stirred up! :-)
