“BYU Kitties 1 - 2 Oregon Unducks

In the biggest game of the season the two protagenists were fairly evenly matched on paper, with different aspects where they held the advanatge, making the match-up interesting.

Unfortunately the pre-match sequence made the outcome a very likely win for the Unducks, who were eager for revenge from their earlier defeat at the hands of the Kitties. Both niggle rolls failed with a double 1, and then a further player was falsely accused of a crime he did not commit. (Cheating Undead zo-fo's)
This left the Kitties with a Troll, and two Blitzers sitting out the game and only 10 men throughout the game.

Despite this massive triple blow to their hopes the Kitties played well trying to keep the score down, and managed to stall out enough of the first half to keep the lead at half time following a Bruce Mahuika TD. Sadly though all 4 BOB's were injured or KO'd at the half way mark and that left the Kitties with 6 players, for the whole second half.

In the second half the Unducks scored a quick equaliser, and from the restart the Kitties managed to get within 5 squares of the Unducks line with a brilliant charge by the Thrower Sam Doman. Sadly his Dump Off action failed and the Unducks broke and scored the winner in T16

So all in all a respectable performance against the odds, and both coaches can be satisfied with the game.
