Anyway, the match was a well fought draw, with the mighty Storm snatching equality from the jaws of defeat at the end of the first half and again in the second half. Eyrik One-Eye seems to have learned the importance of having the ball as a result of scoring a touchdown, which is great. If we keep on this kind of learning curve we should be flying in no time. Mention must also go to old Silkbeard, also scoring a touchdown, we'll drink to the gods on his behalf tonight.

Dynamite Dargan had a great night, with two completions and a good bit of running. He seems to have shown the way forward: a passing game is where we'll go next, and hopefully new signing Jake "Long-Bomb" Jackboot will bring something new to the team.

Comiserations would be in order for poor old Varg Stenkil (who was going for the endzone when he tripped over his own shoelaces ans smashed his hand...)... except we're Norse, so we'll just laugh at him as he sits on the sidelines instead: HAA HAA HAAAAAAA
