Not many surprises here - the Owls were 2 men short and Elladon niggled, so they started with 11 men and shortly were down to 9. They started as few as 7 and had only 4 lying down at one point. The 2-0 loss was a forgone conclusion. However, the niggling of Nate Adams and the two regenned kills were unexpected.

The cas had a negative effect, as to meet the TR cap of 179 they had to retire Elladon AND Maith and hire a new lineman, instead of just retire Elladon and drop their 60K cash. (they were 1 TR too high)

So they lose their only block/tackle player and head into their first season 2 match with 11 available players and 1 niggler instead of 13 and 3.

The combination of the cap, their inflicted cas, their winnings, and the 2 suffered MNGs they took set them down from 187/160 to 177/144.

To make matters oh so much worse, AFTER the team axed two players to fit the arbitrary cap, without knowing there would be a recovery period between seasons that they could be over cap and work out their roster, the team is forcibly removed from the league, after being one of the few teams to complete its season, won the SEC title, and participated in this bowl game.”
