“LOTR - Quest for the One Ring -

We faced a deadly army of undead horrors...we heard that Zara the Slayer was excellent so we hired her - but she was vastly overrated - failing to break armor against mummies on all 7 first half blocks. In the second half she rolled snakes for gfi when she had a run at the ball carrier, then failed to break armor a turn later and then 4 dice and failed to drop the ball carrier...however, her presence was enough to distract the Deadmen.

The first half was owned by the Corsairs - bashing well - and controlling the ball until scoring before half for the 1-0 lead. The second half was all Deadmen however, starting right off, several quick CAS and KOs quickly gave them the advantage in numbers. Zara failed multiple opportunities but did force the Deadmen to score earlier than they wanted. With 2 turns left, the Deadmen left a gap, so without a blitz, our 7 players were able to move downfield and throw up a weak shell...on T16, we made the 3+ dodge with RR for the winning score!
