“What a game, what a game.
I wanted a simple game vs some low bashers in the first round to skill some players. Needed tackle and one GR could get DT with one TD.
I got these dwarves. Quite nice, but the high CR of my opponent and the 3 handicaps (Virus, It wasn't me and Morley's and I would have been doomed. Turned out to be: Knuckledusters, Doom & Gloom and Illegal drugs.) made me worry a bit so I hired Headsplitter and got me a wizard.
Turns out that they weren't really needed. :) My rats were on a roll!
I got the ref and from then on it was one hard struggle for the dwarves to stay on the pitch.
Loren showed up and together with my DP he turned the pitch into a bloodbath.
Got to skill some players, so I got two needed tackles, but GR aged at third skill. Hard choice now. Let's keep him for a while.
Was a great game, though I didn't use my apo (but well, T3) and used a bit too much money now I know what dice I got. :) But three skills, 40K winnings and 10 cas vs dwarves in a major, that's not something you see every day. :)
