“OK, first game in the cup of all cups! FUMBBL CUP that is! Mortarz were scheduelled to play Damned Dwarves! Despite the two handicaps (illegal drugs, +st on a bull, extra training) that were given to the dwarves coach dadoz was feeling confident in his team and did not think he needed the help of the Count in this one.

First half started slow, Mortarz were on the attack and advancing slowly. In the middle of the half a failed gfi from Sneeclaat left the ballholder unprotected, and one thing is sure about chaos dwarves. If you leave your ballholder unprotected, you willl get him bulled down in no time. And sure enough, a bull came rushing and took the ballholder down! And a dirty little hobgobbo got his hands on the ball!

But with some genous coaching, and extreme amount of luck (4+ dodge, 1 dice block) mortarz managed to knock over the goblin and get back the ball. And with some more luck we actually managed to make a rush towards the dorfs endzone! The bulls did manage to catch up wiht the Ghouls, but not to bring the dodging bastards down. And in the last turn of the half they Concieved a TD.

Second half started off with a great (and lucky kick), but then took an ugly turn as the dorfs were sending of players of the pitch faster than i can write this repport. Luckily most of the players ended up in the KO box.. But still, it was a very tough second half. With some skill we managed to get a few tacklezones on the ballholder, and with some great luck afterwards we actually manged to knock him over (one dice once again) and badly hurt him in the process..

This crazy lucky move gave us the 2-0 td and the game was over for the dwarfs. The rest of the half was a mere technicality, and a little of a bashing frenzy. But the game ended 2-0 for the undeads, and a good start in the cup.

Thanks to coach Emperor who despite his bad luck in critical situations never whined more than once hehe! We owe him a rematch some day!
