“With alot of verbal sparring going on pre-game there was alot riding on this game!
The skum made their intentions clear right from the start, mobbing Robocop with the dirty player Da Gunvna laying in the boot, causing serious damage.
The Mecca team held their breath as their apo rushed to robo's aid, but the magic sponge lived upto its name and robocop came round.
From there the skum systemactically started taking the Mecca out peice by peice and by the end of the first half both mechavermin were KO'd, the doomwheel was badly hurt, the veteran 'ganster town' killed and there remained just 2 Mecca players on the pitch!
Special mentions in the first half go to the Mecca blunderbuss who fired the ball the length of the pitch right into a slaves hand - and the skums hired bomma, who lobbed a bomb right at the said slave, blowing him to smithereens and preventing a Mecca TD!
Second half saw the skum's luck change, and the mechavermin taking block after block and foul after foul. The Skum decided to go for the win leaving the mechavermin and heading for the end zone.
On the way skum lost kidney punch, but retaliated by killing another of the Mecca's more skilfull players, Dogtanian!
Mecca put up a fabulous defense with help from some lucky rolls(a 1d block on a blodger got a pow!) and almost held the game to a tie.
Determination and sheer grit on the part of the Skum helped them re-retrieve the ball and score a turn 8 TD.
Skum win 1-0, and 2-1 on players killed- a solid performance all round.
Man of the match goes to Da Guvna, who not only almost took Robocop offline but notched up and impresive 5 fouls without being sent off! truely a legend in the making!
poor performance award goes to both chainsaws, who between them failed to cause a even a single casualty!
