“With 4 players out of the match getting skin grafts, stiches, and splints by the carnage of the Khemri, the Darkelves walked onto the field as severe underdogs.
In the first half, playing the sideline game well, the Darkelves culled back the Chaos to managable numbers. At the end of the half, it was snakeeyes that prevented the Witchelf from breaking away from the pack for a 2 TD lead.
The second half began with the chaos grinding out a slow cage which was attempted to be broken with a double double skull (thats right, 4 in a row and all that was needed was a lowly push) that would have chain pushed the Witchelf free to get the skattered ball off of a beastman's failed dodge. Recurring Nightmare picked up the slop and mashed out a score on turn 7.
With 2 turns to score, in the end it was a missed GFI on turn 8 of the second half that clinched the tie.”
