Rookie SMACK game with 2 new teams, my norse vs saenri79's vampires. I'd never played with or against either race (both new since my tabletop BB days), so it was going to be interesting.

And interesting it was with the block-crazy norse doing a lot of punching, while the vampires alternated between ludicrous plays and injuring their own thralls.

Managed to get a last minute TD to make it 2-2 and force it into overtime, but even scoring in overtime wasn't enough as a 3-3 final result meant a coin toss. The vampires won and went into the next round!

Thanks for the game - my norse are ready for another rookie SMACK now.
