“This game was all Lads, all the time. Despite failing the turn 1 pick-up ball attempt, the Lads had left themselves mostly intact as far as formation on the pitch. The Elfin Blazers all got ball hungry and swarmed over onto our side of the pitch, but we unable to either pick up the ball nor put a TZ on the line elf standing next to it. This allowed for the turn two ball pick up, the hand-off to the Lads' new thrower and the pass to Quincy. From there the Lads caged up and moved down field. The Blazers, sensing the quick score swarmed the remaining elves in the backfield and began to make sure that they regretted ever being born. This however allowed for Kennith Kingsman II to make his way down field to the cage were he and Quincy began to play toss for 3 turns, safely behind a wall of line elves and war dancers.

The second half started with a failed GFI on the part of the Blazers which allowed the sack on Elf Arm. This lead to a quick score by the lads. On the next possession the Blazers were finally able to make their way down field and find the end zone. On their next drive the Lads found a little bit of trouble, turning the ball over to the Blazers after a failed block attempt when trying to break out of the cage. This situation was soon solved by some spectacular dice dodging and blocking by Wesley Whittle, who eventually managed to not only end up with the ball, but after a few leaps, end up in the end zone. Then, with the time running out, the Lads decided to add insult to injury as they managed to blitz into the backfield of the Blazers and catch their own kick off. The blazers attempted to force control of the LoS, but in so doing caused a turn over which allowed Thadius Trueborn to walk into the end zone.”
