“Well that sucked....whilst I did not realistically expect to make it through Rd1, the fact that I was forced to suffer both Morleys and Greatest on a 12 man squad and then have double skulls on T1 straight away followed by a Turn Over on T2. The fact my oppo had The Count just rubbed salt in the wound.

A half then proceded with lots of pushing and shoving and no score.

In the second half the game saw the Undead recieve and Turn Over after dropping the ball at the back, though after they had completed their actions.

The Orcs tried to capitalise but their blocks could not make the impact that the Undead were. The 18 specs were baying for blood and a crowdpush, but the odds were not good for a sucessful CrowdPush.

Anyway in a last ditch attempt the wizard zapped the ball carrying Ghoul and stunned him. the Orcs tried to get the ball safe but the Undead were lucky with the retrieval moves and block, and required a T16 GFI with reroll to score.

If I had have lost 3-0 I would have probably felt better, but the context of the games development left me feeling aggrieved. This in no way reflects my opponent who was fair and did what he had to, I just feel somewhat annoyed with myself and with fate!
