“The Marauders achieved their first victory in a long, long time much thanks to their effective way of clearing rats off the pitch. An early fumble with the ball screwed the match for Willard's Crew, who then spent the rest of the match defending and trying to win back the ball.

The Marauaders played with confidence and backbone today and maybe they have a bright future in sight despite their awful track record.

A high point of irony was that the much criticised and low performing "Twitches" Nelson was handed the ball to allow for a TD. He made it, but he also ended up smashing his knee on the very last turn of the match. He might be kept on as a dirty player though, once he finally can get that last SPP.

Captain "Safeguard" nearly died, but he was rescued by the apothecary. It seemed like something in his brain was damaged though, because the valiant leader has turned into a frenzied hyper aggressive berserker.
