Again the Anvil's cup run ends in disaster. Two key moments swung it in the end. A re-rolled blitz from a slayer to get the ball free once more ended up with double skulls and a comfortable walk to the endzone for the hobgoblin with several of the Anvil's players having a nap in the dressing room.

Second when on offence, and having recovered from a wizard comfortably opening up their cage a missed hand-off left the ball on the sidelines. An even block from the Bandit's pushed a longbeard into the ball and subsequently into the crowd who proceeded to punt it across field for a waiting hobgoblin.

We feel the crowd really let us down this game. Causing the injury to Ludih that will now see him taking a well earned, and permanent rest in the Karak Varn bar was just the start. A surf of the Bandit's star bull ended with nothing but some scuffing of his hooves and then the perfect pass at the end of the second half to end any chance the Anvil's still held of an OT victory.
