High elves were going to be a challenge, and 5 star food had an extra player on me, and 19 pts of TR. Muzzle missed the game due to his Niggling injury putting me 2 players down. To top it all off, I set up a defensive play, but I was attacking! Not a good start.

However, the opening kickoff was glorious!!! A pitch invasion that went my way knocking down one elf, and STUNNING ANOTHER SEVEN!! Turn 2 saw me tip toe through bodies to score the first TD of the match.

Therein ensued a very strange game of Blood bowl in which the the Chaos team played the passing game, and the elf team played the running game. Big Bovis played his usual game of smashing whomever got in his way, and picked up two casualties.

I managed to keep ahead of the elves by one TD, but a poor setup late in the 1st half let the elves make an easy TD, and it was the Uffington Stallions that had to play catchup. Late in the 2nd half I was one TD down and my chaos warrior rolled the dreaded double skull. This left a nice opening for the elves, which they nicely capitalised on. Bovis was the only beast in range of the ball carrier, and needed to make 2 GFI's and 2 dodges. Alas, he couldn't pull it off, and with 2 turns remaining I was 2 TD's down, and 5 star had the game in the bag.

Have to say this was one of the best games of FUMBBL I've played in a long, long time. While it ended the cup chances of the Stallions, with a 23 losses to their name I honestly didn't expect to get to the finals.

#9 Turkish Delight – Smashed Knee (NI)
Truely a crazy game!! I never expected a Chaos team to be out passing my HEs but that is what DaveC did. Every score was an awesome pass for the TD.

I never really stopped him on offense when he was trying. The last two turns in the first half the Stallions decided to sit on the ball instead of going for another flashy TD. I think they were trying to grind down my elves (which was working). A failed block roll followed by another failed block RR gave me the go ahead score.

I am convince DaveC would have scored had he went for it!! (Putting us into overtime) His passing was awesome. Three Long Bombs for TDs from a Chaos team was sweet to watch.
