“This was one of the oddest matches I have ever played, filled with spectacular moves, lots of luck, weird twists and turns and drama :)

The luck meter doesn't do the match any justice. ELT was probably the luckier one, very rarely missing important rolls and backed by the home crowd. They helped their team out by knocking my guard saurus out with a thrown rock (stayed out the rest of the match) and rushing the pitch twice. The first time bringing down 5 of my players and 0 of ELT's and the second time 3 of mine and 1 of his.

The elves armor was also completly insane. For 14 turns I only managed to score a single KO, despite being quite lucky landing clean hits. Then it was a ketchup effect in the end where I did 3 cas and 1 KO in the final turns, but by then it was of course far too late to win the match. But I skilled up a saurus and managed to run in another comfort TD :)

As for the Geckos they would have stood out as lucky against many other teams. My first TD was quite spectacular with a skink dodging away from his defender, snatching up the ball and passing it to the saurus Ankhatza...all witout using a re-roll.

Perhaps the weirdes thing was that a crew of goblins broke into the vaults and ran off with the winnings. So despite showing the crowd a match filled with spectacular and entertaining moves both teams ended up not earning any money. But fortunately neither side suffered any cripples or fatalities either.
