“BOL - Group Three - Round Three

A tail of missed GFIs. Luckily for Lyon it was the Bandits who suffered the most. It all started with the Bandits on offence and a touch back putting the ball in the hands of their mummy, Anika. Only a failed block got the ball off him for Lyon but they made the most of it. Picking up and going for the opposite end zone, praying that their extra pace would be enough. The Bandits attempted to put some pressure on the ball carrier but a failed gfi to blitz left Lyon an easy stroll to the line.

Next failed gfi came in the second half with Lyon on offence. Again a defensive move by the Bandits to try and cover the drive, but with it failing it left Lyon with another walk to the endzone. This time taking out Joanna along the way.

The game really hadn't been going Azure's way. This only continued as he went for the consolation score. A failed gfi one turn leaving his ball carrier exposed. Lyon failed to capitalise and didn't get the ball free but the lack of luck for the Bandit's saved them with the wight tripping over his own feet on the way to the line.

Thanks for the game Azure. You took the terrible luck well and I hope the game was still somewhat enjoyable at least. Wishing you far better luck in your other games and look forward to a rematch sometime!”
