“Always a pleasure playing Stu. But this one was devastating!
Of course as my elves start missing 2+ passes, 2+ dodges and not manage the first 4 GFIs, the frustration made me play a more high-risk game, that again made me fall even harder on a day that Nuffle had me bend over nicely. I'm happy that I met Stus cute Woodies, cause against a team with a little more power, I'd probably have to retire this team..
Thanks for the empathy, Stu. Looking forward to our next clash!
Considering all the effort Brother_Fu went to, just to play this game, his players were nowhere near as enthusiastic about it. They couldn't dodge, throw, catch or GFI to save their lives or for that matter, Fu's chances in the game. With Woodies that makes it quite hard to effect a gameplan.... especially against another load of Woodies who didn't have the same problems.
Anyway, in a game that should have been tight, I ended up romping home. I'd like to give a more accurate account of it, but I was fairly mullered while playing and I've only sobered up a bit because I had to do a couple of hours on the decks to keep the music flowing.
Up next round is a bunch of dirty deadies and I plan to give them the same treatment Fu's boys got. After that it'll be those dirty rats that love to eat elves according to their coach Azure. If I make it through to play them I can assure you they'll be eating something elven but it won't be the whole team, just their...... errr......... half time oranges :P
I'm off for some more Alcyhol so i'll see y'all later. Unlucky Fu. One each in the OBBA cup first round so far, so I expect to see you at the same stage next year.
