“Fumbbl Cup VI: Round III

Handicaps for DoN: Morley's, Doom and Gloom, Bad Press and Duh, where am I. Swashbuckle was Boneheaded.

All nigglers from both sides played (two from Words and three from DoN. Both teams hire Ripper.

First half, Words recieve. DoN cause a cas on the los on the first block, but after that his advance stalled due to the stopping power of Cyclopean, the troll. A 1 for the pickup enabled Words to threaten the ball, but other than that they couldn't do much. DoN managed to snatch the ball and made a run for it, but was intercepted and knocked down next to the sideline. The next turn a failed dodge made the ball scatter into the crowd, who tossed it beck towards the middle of the field. Words beastman Fulminate picked it up and ran, and even though the team got KO'd left and right he managed to stall until turn 6, leaving DoN two turns to equalise.

After the kickoff the ball landed in the endzone, and despite an attempt to score it was not to be. However, Cyclopean got gangfouled SI/niggle, failed regen, and left the field. Words retaliated and fould a guard/FA beastman to BH. 1-0 to Words after the first half.

Second half, due to bad Morley's rolls Words start with 9 players to DoNs 11. A cas and foul-KO on a rotter and the beast evend the field, though, and after that Words slowly grinded their way to the endzone, fouling left and right and causing KO's and cas as they went, scoring comfortable in turn 16.

Thanks for the game Ehlers! Was a good one, and even though I was lucky enough to score 1-0 in your half, at the beginning of the second I was quite apprehensive due to my numerical disadvantage. Good game all around, looking forwards to meeting you on the pitch another day.
