“Game 6 OCCS Stomp for Raptors:

A game that started and ended with blood...inbetween lots of skulls and bothdowns. In the first half, the Raptors received; however, on the orcs first turn, a -2d block against the Kroxigor niggled him save for the apothecary. That shook the raptors back on their heels...however they pressed forward. A goblin darted forward for a block on Air - however, he did not realize the strength of Air and was badly hurt in the process (amusing note: Air managed 1 CAS on 0 blocks). Air then scored and injury time allowed plenty of time in the first half...however, both sides were out of RRs and the orcs struggled with the pickup. Shade, Air and Little Stinker (3 skinks) converged on the ball and together overpowered the one orc blitzer and scored to go up 2-0.

The second half started with a blitz...and there were groans at this point...a nice dodge away from the kroxigor and blitz badly hurt a skink; however, firmly in control the skinks escorted the hulking lizard, Grapple, down the field and after some effort he eventually got a hold of the ball and scored. Up 3-0, the Raptors ignored defense, looking for another score, but snake eyes on the block sauras left the door open and an awesome crossfield pass and catch and the orcs were on the board.

Good game - fun to play against Steelthunder again.”
