My opponent didn't take to my fouling too well. Not too well at all.
Get the ref was a bonus, but my gameplan was clear from the off. deal with the blodgers and clear as many zons off the pitch as possible. And it worked a treat. To be fair to my opponent, he didnt have great luck. He lost his apoth early on, then I twisted the knife, busting his team up. this made it easy for me to score against the play 1st half, then stroll into the end zone with minimal resistance the 2nd half.
In the end I had kicked the snot outta the zons, got 3 skill increases, got enough cash for my Ogre and got a FF increase! All in all a great result for me.
The whole fouling subject raised it's ugly head again, and all I will say on this topic is that if I see anopportunity to win, I'm gonna take it. If that includes fouling with no risk of being sent off then surely I'd be daft not to! I have no feelings regarding fouling either way. It's a tool to be used to the best effect. And it doesn't get better than when the ref's tied up!
Hardin can be forgiven for being very bitter and impolite throughout the game, I don't know in my heart of hearts if I would have been much different had the tables been turned.”

I was the one trying to chat friendly, even after my blitzer ripped himself in a 2d block in second turn. Then he just starts fouling each turn without even looking at the ball. I point that up, and try to keep playing ball. He keeps playing the only way he knows. Some stupid turns after that, ballcarrier is blitzed and ball goes out of play and then crosses all field and ends up next to my endzone. I keep contra-fouling just to make the maximum damage, but for this game my AV was 5 and his was 10.
Second half, more stupid dices and more "nice" comments from opponent, even trying to make me think he now, with 3 prone players in the field, he feels "simpathy" for me. Yeah, a bit late.
So a coach straight to blacklist and a team straight to the garbage bin. Would have to find a league where people are a bit more acceptable, or just keep playing single games for fun, a concept that this "mate" had a bit twisted.”
