“The Casuals will be left shellshocked after losing a match they could have won and probably deserved to draw.

After a slight misunderstanding amongst the Casuals coaching staff (with one blitzer accidentally left on the sidelines, his place taken by a lineman) was resolved by a quick beating by the head coach, the game kicked off. Bad luck struck in the opening turns of the game, as the Killers counter attacked well and managed to break through to the ball carrier (Gorbla). The normally excellent Gorbla failed an easy dodge (failed 2+ dodge, RR, failed again!), leaving the backfield open. He then compounded his mistake with another failed dodge (3rd 2+ dodge failure in a row!), as he tried to break away and blitz the ball carrier. The Killers quickly touched down for an early lead.

The Casuals restarted well, again trying an attack down the left, this time with a tighter cage, killing one of the Killer's Black Orcs in the process. Sadly, luck again was not with them. In the dying seconds of the half, a single opening gave a Killers player a chance to bring down Gorbla only a few steps from the endzone, leaving him out for the next match (this half was a right pain, my luck never rose above 20% XD )!

The second half started well, with a good counter attack leaving Radnatz running free with the ball in the Killer's endzone, able to score at leisure. Unfortunately the Killers managed to maul their opposition, causing two 'badly hurt' casualties and another two SIs!

With only three turns left, and the ball kicked deep into the Killer's half, it looked like the Casuals would easily take a draw, but some lax defending, the lack of players and some excellent play by the Killers let through a touchdown on the final turn of the game, giving a win to the Killers!

All in all an exciting game, but the team are going to have trouble in the next match with two blitzers missing, including one of their key layers!
