0-1 The lizzies dropped the ball half a dozen yards from my Endzone after zig-zagging slowly upfield for most of the first half. The elves managed to snatch it and toss it to a Blitzer running all out for the cold-bloods' Endzone.

1-1 With just two rounds left of the first half, the lizzies gets a touchback and promptly moves the ball-carrying Skink and a Saurus screen halfway down the field and way out on one flank. The elves move into blocking positions, but stops a yard short of the sideline. A nicely executed Blitz from a Saurus opens the door, and the ball carrying Skink wastes no time running in the equalizer.

1-2 The elves lost the ball because of a Saurus Blitzing through a hole in their screen, and had to scramble around for it for a while before getting it back under control. A Quick Pass to an AG5 Blitzser was all that was needed to score, but a Saurus somehow intercepted the ball. After a few more rounds of scrambling around the elves got their hands on the ball again, and wasted no time getting it into the backoning End-zone.

With just their last turn left to play, the Sauruses vented a bit of frustration while the Skinks just headed for the showers.”
