“For this match the Asgardians had enough of the right skills to deal with the Ork girls, enough tackle and guard to be as scary as dorfs.
A shallow kick and some mixed blocking by the Orks saw Frozen Force laying on his back, the following foul was brutal, taking out the mino for a game. Here came a decision that pretty much won the match, I apothed the mng and the mino stood up in our turn. We then went to the basics of covering and putting pressure on the girls, who then tried to go toe to toe. This tactic saw the norse gain an advantage with numerous knockouts and cas. With the ref in the bag, our dirty players went to work and quickly helped drop the numbers. A blitz by Jnord stalled the zon's chance of scoring and the following turn the ball was passed downfield out of their reach.
The second half saw all the knocked out orks stay out of the game, they couldn't stand up to the full side of norse, who easily ran in two scores to take victory.

A brutal match for the ladies this one. Noticing that we'd bribed the ref before the match, the Asgardians took him out of the picture completely. We only got one foul in - a first turn cas on Frozen Force (minotaur). The apoth saved him, however, and our bribe was gone. There wasn't a great deal we could do as the norsemen decimated the team (the orks had foolishly decided to go toe to to with them for a turn ... the result was not pretty). Things were looking up in turn 7, when we came within range of a touchdown, however, Jnord Reikonnen made a solid blitz on the ball carrier, taking her down, and ensuring that we didn't score (and also that we didn't have as long as we would have liked to revive those that had been KOed.

All five of our KOed players stayed off the pitch, leaving us with just five players for the second half. Needless to say, there wasn't a whole lot of competition. The Asgardians ran all over us, and scored comfortably ... twice.
