#3 Tsumego – Smashed Knee (NI)
#11 Wei-Qi – Dead (RIP)
A shocking performance which left both coaches stunned.

Te first half the HEs received the kick off, and without any problems at all just slid through the Nurgling's defence to score a quick 1-0, scored by Baduk the Line Elf!

The Nurglings Received the ball, and all hell broke loose. The kick off result had a rock thrown from the fans, killing player Wei-Qi. The apothecary leapt to action, and revived the player. However, in shock and dismay did Wei-Qi watch mayhem erupt around him, as inmerely 1 turn 3 consecutive KOs were dealt out against the HE team. Wimpering (and wetting himself in the process) he cried "Mummy!"

However, the smell of the urine attracted the attention of a Rotter, who blitzed him immediately, bringing about his death a second time in the same match.

The team of 10 HEs diminished to 6 in a blink, and a slugfest without any further damage followed, ending in a turn 8 TD by the nurglings, 1-1.

The second half looked like a nightmare to the HEs. 6 players to field, facing 11, and no chance in Nuffleland! And then the break of the match occurred, BLITZ! With precision of a drunk apothecary the Nurgling lineup was smashed and the catcher moved into place to catch the incoming ball. Alas, the Foul Appearance of the rotter distracted him and he missed. What followed was a chaos of blocks and assists, and eventually the ball bounced to an empty square. The catcher Shusaku rose to the occassion, and dashed to the far end, only to fail his GFI. Regardless, the Nurglings were unable to prevent the TD, making it 2-1, scored by Sente the Blitzer.

Unfortunately, even this TD was scored quickly, and yet another line up of 6 players occurred, and the best they were hoping for was a 2-2 draw. No blitz this time, and the LoS reduced the number of players once again. The last moment a Beastman decides to pass the ball, but misses, making it fly to the side.

Shusaku the catcher immediately runs to catch the ball, and much to the Nurgling dismay, he makes it. Then Sente the Blitzer breaks free of a TZ, and stands ready to assist the upcoming onslaught. 5 nurglings gang up on poor Shusaku, but no Strip Ball on the team left them at a disadvantage, and Shusaku the Catcher holds onto the ball with all his might. The Blitzer tries to use a chainpush to make the catcher's life easier, however this attempt failed as a Both Down result was rolled. So Shusaku takes a deep breath, dodges and GFIs, and against all odds (including no reroll) scores a 3rd TD for the HEs in turn 7, 2nd half.

By this time the Nurgling Coach was cursing his team, "bah, lack of block cost me this match". The HE coach concurs, as the Nurgle team had a mighty 10% higher luck and couldn't make it work for a win...

Please let it be noted that this was the 1st win against Tenpole without Eshins. Gluck in the rest of the tourney mate :)

The Rot are back to there usual performance of bad play. Lack of block on a smashy team did show with both down turn overs for the Rot.
However the team all enjoyed themselves apparently smashing up the elves and would like to do it again sometime.

Man of the match:Rot fans for the throw a rock kill.
