vast difference in experience in these 2 teams - 219 games played for the norse, 11 for my lizards meant I was slightly apprehensive before kickoff!
Went 1-0 up by half time (would have been 2-0 except for an excellent dodge n blitz by the norse before my turn 8) and the 2nd half quickly went my way with many charioteers filling the KO box. Ankhy (str 5 saurus) catching a ball that bounced onto him made the win pretty secure and after stalling the final few turns 2-0 secured my advance to round 2.
